The new business would settle in Naperville, Illinois. Naperville had been expanding rapidly and offered an excellent market for the unique selection of merchandise. (more)

After 5 years in Naperville, a second store was opened in the Oakbrook Shopping Center in 1988. L. Brandys proved that it was an independent business that was innovative. (more)

After 10 years, L. Brandys outgrew the Naperville and Oak Brook locations and relocated to the current 7,250+ square foot location in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, not ten minutes away from Oak Brook. The new location provides ample space to display special home accessories and furniture that we travel far to find. (more)

As of October 17, 2006, the business is under the new ownership of Laura Walker who worked for L. Brandys as a senior interior designer for one year prior to the purchase and who was also a long time L. Brandys customer. Laura has degrees in both architecture and interior design and is a registered ASID interior designer. (more)
